Film: MONIHARA"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Thursday, 02.05.2024, 8 pm<\/h4>\n<p>Meheli Sen (New Brunswick)<br \/>\n<em><strong>Ray Beyond Realisms: The Irrational and the non-human in MONIHARA and DEVI<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Satyajit Ray&#8217;s towering presence in Indian cinema studies can hardly be overstated. Ray&#8217;s oeuvre is mostly discussed within frameworks of realism and humanism.
